Events for Everyone
We invite you to immerse yourself in the Homecoming traditions at St. Edward’s. Student Homecoming Week 2014 will include:
- Action-packed events for teams to compete for the Topper Cup trophy
- Annual Casino Night — with more games and prizes than ever before
- A pep rally, BBQ, and tailgate party before basketball games
Topper Pride = Topper Cup!
As Homecoming approaches, the campus will be showered with Topper Pride. Students, get your teams ready for a week filled with spirit-boosting events that compete for the Topper Cup trophy.
- Cardboard Regatta
- Dodgeball Tournament
- Board Painting Contest
- Ice Cream Eating Contest
How to Compete for the Topper Cup Trophy:
Teams earn points at each event by winning first, second or third place. Points are tallied throughout the week and posted on Collegiate Link. The winners for each event receive their awards at the Homecoming Tailgate at the end of the week. The team with the most points overall will win the Topper Cup for Homecoming 2014!
Forming a Topper Cup Team:
- Any student or group of students can be on a Homecoming team! Student organizations, residence hall groups and all spirited groups of students are encouraged to assemble teams.
- Don’t have a team? Sign up as a free agent and we’ll hook you up with a competition crew.
Team registration packets are available on Collegiate Link in January 2014. All members of the St. Edward’s University community may log into Collegiate Link with your username and password.
