Events for Everyone
All Saturday activities are still on except the concert. There will be no concert tonight.
Homecoming and Family Weekend 2015 will feature events for everyone such as the President’s Address, Casino Night — and, of course, Sunday Mass, the Farewell Brunch, and the University Ring Ceremony. Our tailgate party will be an all-inclusive, family-friendly event where the entire St. Edward's community can cheer our women's and men's basketball teams on to victory. The evening will end with a concert illustrating why Austin is the live music capital of the world!
On Friday, be part of a new Homecoming tradition. Join your fellow alumni, family, friends, and students for the first St. Edward's University Homecoming and Family Weekend Golf Tournament sponsored by Campus Recreation. Hosted at the Roy Kizer Golf Club located just 5 miles from campus, the tournament will feature a four-person scramble format, range balls, green fees, prizes, lunch, raffles, and a chance to hit the links and reconnect with the Hilltop. Players can sign up as teams or individuals. Registration for the tournament closes February 16th, but spots are limited. REGISTER today!
Events for Alumni
University and High School Alumni from any class year will kick off the weekend at the All Alumni Welcome Back Party. The university classes of 2005, 1970 and 1965 are celebrating their 10th, 45th and 50th reunions with special gatherings and the high school alumni are hosting an All-Classes High School reunion. We are hosting our annual Golden Guard Memorial Mass and Induction Luncheon for the 50th reunion of the high school and university classes of 1965. The Golden Guard is a special society of alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago. Visit our Reunions page for all the details.
We're also inviting back the many groups that contributed to the history of the hilltop and continue to be part of our family, such as the Holy Cross Brothers, Immaculate Heart of Mary Sisters, Maryhill alumni, and former faculty members and coaches. Come home to reconnect with old friends and make new memories.
Students, Compete for the Topper Cup!
Students, get your teams ready for a week filled with spirit-boosting events that compete for the Topper Cup trophy.
All students who are looking at our upper class housing as an option for next year mare invited to tour the Student Apartments, Johnson Hall and Casa communities on Saturday, Feb. 28. Tours will be available at 12:30 p.m., 1:15 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. and will depart from the Office of Residence Life located in Community Building 1 of the student apartments.
